About
Hello curious reader. My name is Mateo Jurin and I come from a beautiful city on the coast, Zadar. There I finished the School of Natural Sciences and Graphics as a graphic designer. I currently live in Varaždin because I am studying at the University North, majoring in Multimedia.
In my free time, I play music, sew and use Illustrator and Photoshop. In addition, I had experience using my design knowledge for other people's needs.
Future
Predicting the future doesn't work for me. What I do know is that we need to prepare for the future by living in the present and learning from the past. All that matters to me is that I do what I love because I will feel that way as if I'm playing, and not as if I'm working. Life is long and who knows what else awaits me on a path full of thorns and twigs.
To reach such a goal I would have to learn throughout my life. Life itself is a school, and we are the ones who choose whether to study or not.
What I have done so far is that I went to the national competition Worldskills Croatia 2021. It was a graphic technology competition and I finished in fourth place. For me, it was a great success because I was competing at the national's competition, and I didn’t even expect it. That same competition encouraged me to believe in myself and to do my best.
